Josef Koppmann is an internationally renowned jeweller working in sterling silver, 24 carat gold and precious stones of the highest standard. His distinctive, minimalist work can be viewed at galleries throughout Europe, from Elsa Vanier in Paris, to Galleri Hoff in Copenhagen.
Josef required a website befitting his minimal style, which heavily features the recurring motifs in his work, namely light and shade, symmetry, asymmetry, movement, clean lines and bold shapes.
Working closely together, initially from hand-drawn sketches to fully fledged visuals, we arrived at a unified design solution to encapsulate much of what Josef’s work is about, combining subtly shaded background staging with sans-serif typography and an innovative ‘carousel’-style method of object display.
